Despatch and Delivery

To ensure your purchase is despatched in merchantable condition, items are usually made to order and despatched within 2 working days.  If there is any delay due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be advised by telephone or via e-mail.

Items are despatched via 1st Class Recorded Delivery (Mainland UK) and will require a signature at the point of delivery.  If delivery is required to an area other than Mainland UK, please contact Babies to Brides for the correct P&P charge.  For your convenience, a contact form is available in the website menu.

If nobody is available to sign for the item, delivery services usually leave a card with their contact details.  You will need to contact the Post Office to arrange re-delivery or collection at a suitable time.

Multiple Purchases

Purchases of two of the same product will qualify for reduced P&P charges.  The second item will be charged at the reduced rate of £3.50.  For purchases via Paypal, the reduction will be shown at the checkout.

Paypal

When you have selected your item/s, click 'Add to cart'.  When you have finished shopping, click on 'Proceed to Checkout' - you will be forwarded to the Paypal website to complete your SECURE online purchase. 

Personal Cheque or Postal Order

E-mail or telephone me with your order.  I will then confirm receipt of your order by e-mail and provide details of who to make your cheque or Postal Order payable to.

Once payment has been cleared, ie cheque cleared or payment confirmed via Payal, your item/items will be manufactured and subsequently dispatched.

Privacy Statement

All information collected is through the ordering/registration process and is in accordance with the Data Protection act 1998. We are committed to protecting your privacy.  The information that we collect about you will only be used lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). 

You will not be contacted in the future unless you have given your consent, or unless there is need to do so regarding your order. 

Your details will not be passed on to any other party.  This also applies if you provide your details in order to receive details of special offers, promotions, new products etc.  The information we collect about you is used to process your order and/or, to contact you in connection with your order should the need arise, or, if you have requested to receive details of special offers, promotions or new products etc. thus providing you with the best service possible.  The type of information collected about you includes:

  1. Your name
  2. Address
  3. Telephone number
  4. E-mail address

Sensitive information about you will not be collected without your explicit consent.  Card details are not disclosed to us and cannot therefore be retained.   

Jurisdicition Clause 

No contract will subsist between you and Babies 2 Brides for the sale by it to you, of any product unless and until, Babies 2 Brides accepts your order via e-mail, confirming that your payment has been cleared and your purchase is being prepared for despatch.  For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom.  Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England and, you and Babies 2 Brides irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Returns Policy 

Every effort is made to ensure your items and carefully crafted and packaged.  However, should you receive a faulty or damaged item, the following terms shall apply:

  1. On receipt of faulty or damaged items, notifiication must be e-mailed to Babies 2 Brides within 24 hours of delivery.  For your convenience, a contact form is located in the website menu. 
  2. The goods must be returned to us in original condition and in the original packaging
  3. You have a duty of care towards goods purchased which, includes those being returned.  This means that you must ensure that any goods being returned, are packaged in such a way that they will not be damaged in transit.
  4. On receipt and inspection of returned goods, we will e-mail you to confirm that the faulty or damaged item will be replaced or refunded as per your instructions.  Return postage will be refunded if the fault or damage is deemed to be the fault of Babies 2 Brides.  Postage refunds will be at the prevailing rate of postage for the weight of the item, and not at the P&P rate charged when the item was shipped to you.  (Our P&P charge also includes our packaging costs).   We suggest you obtain a proof of postage as we cannot not be held responsible for returned parcels that are lost in the post.  Please allow a maximum of 21 days for refunds to be processed and credited to your account or 14 days for a cheque to be received by you.

Cancellation

  1. Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering, until seven working days after delivery - with the exception of Personalised items that have been made specifically to your requirements.  Cancellation must be in writing, ie via e-mail or post.  For your convenience a contact form is located in the website menu.  (If posting, please retain proof of posting).  If we have already shipped your order, you will need to package the relevant items in the original packaging and send them back to us at your expense.  If your order has not yet been manufactured, but payment has been received, you will receive a full refund including our P&P costs.
  2. An e-mail confirming receipt of your cancellation must be received from us before returning goods.   Please allow a maximum of 21 days for refunds to be processed and credited to your account or, 14 days for a cheque to be received by you.
